This news should have hit our blog MONTHS ago. Talk about excitement!
Ty's book has been published! We were so happy to be able to be in Logan at the beginning of August for the grand release and first book signing. It was so exciting. We are so proud of Ty and all of his hard work, and we couldn't be happier for Ty and Connie and their grand adventure in the world of publishing! The kick-off party in Logan was awesome. Not only did we get to spend some good quality time with the fam, but the release and signing was epic. Ty and a few of his buddies did a janitorial percussion performance that was super impressive and so fun. AND, to no surprise, the turnout at the signing was awesome. Having our books officially signed was absolutely worth the wait!:)
Janitors is a fantastic read for all ages (so fun, so creative) and Ty is now on a nationwide tour where he's doing school assemblies and book signings. To learn more about the book and to see when Ty will be in your area check out

(PS - you can find the book online at amazon.com etc. as well as at Deseret Book, Wal-Mart, Costco, Barnes and Noble....you know....everywhere awesome books are sold. :) )

It was so great to have some time in Logan. On our way home we enjoyed another day or two in Orem and at the cabin before we began our descent South. On our way back to Texas we had a great visit with Grams in Price and saw some family history sights in the area as well as in Grand Junction, CO. Another highlight was our stop in Kansas for an epic reunion with my good friend from high school, Karen. And just like that, summer 2011 slipped into the history books.
