Summer 1….

July took us to Utah again - and we did not complain. It was awesome. Ruby was super excited to ride on the airplane (and did a great job!) and see her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. We started off by spending the 4th of July (celebrated on the 3rd) in Logan and then started our trip to Alberta by stopping in southeastern Idaho. We had an amazing time being bak in Sugar City and Rexburg and then spending the 4th of July with Stacie and her fam. It was lovely.

These peeps were sure excited to head west!

So happy to see Uma!

Loved spending time with Gran.

Finally got to enjoy a motorcycle ride together again…and in one of our all-time favorite places!

So much fun at Gran and Pa's.

Ruby super loved the fireworks! Logan puts on a great show.

Reuniting with our Idaho family - the Farnworth's - was so great!

The kids loved checking out Ricks.

Extra, Extra! Read all about it. The Whitesides family will be welcoming a new little one in December!

One of my oldest and dearest friends - and our crazy kids! We had a blast.

Soon to be four….

In case anyone hasn't heard….a cute baby boy will be joining our family in December! We couldn't be more excited! Ruby often talks about (and to) "baby brother" and can't wait to "be a big sister!"

Girl's Camp...

Let's be totally honest here. When I was asked (fairly last-minute) to help at Girl's Camp it may have taken me a few days (combined with a few prayers and a few conversations with friends and family) to really get on board. Our summer was super busy and having not gone to girl's camp much as a youth myself, I've never had overly strong feelings about it. That being said, I said yes and tried to have a good attitude! As it always is with things that are inherently good (serving...duh!), it was a really great experience overall. I enjoyed getting to know the girls and really loved getting to know the other ward and stake leaders more.

The Conway ward!

It feels like home....

To say I was excited for Heidi and Bekah to come visit would be a serious understatement. It was so just SO good to see them. It was, of course, super nice to show them where we live etc. and do a fun sight-seeing thing or two, but the highlight was definitely just being together again - wrapping our arms around each other, talking for hours, reconnecting. It just felt like home. So, so good. And Ruby LOVVED them. She knows her people when she sees them!
