Three months old and cuter than ever....

Seriously.....so cute, right?!
Ruby just keeps moving up in the world. She now weighs around 10.5 pounds, has grown another inch and has moved into the 11 percentile! :)
A few things:
- Her neck just keeps getting stronger. She loves to be sitting up and looking all around.
- She has, on occasion, figured out how to get out of tummy-time by rolling over.
- She gets so excited when you pick her up in the morning or after a nap and is DEVASTATED if you put her down too soon for something like a diaper change.
- She finally fits in 0-3 month clothing. :)
- Loves to suck on her fingers and slobber all over.
- Loves when you sing to her.

Feliz Pascoa!

Easter Sunday was Ruby's big debut at church and she was a hit! Even more importantly, it was great to be back at church as a family. Rubes loved looking around and cooed along with the hymns. I'm sure that not every Sunday will be that easy, but she really did such a great job. Both C and I had the opportunity to bear our testimonies and were grateful to be able to do so on the day when we celebrate Christ's resurrection. We enjoyed having our friend Melanie with us for sacrament meeting and for an Easter lunch. We had a fun Easter afternoon together and a festive and fun gathering with friends that night. A special thanks to Ruby for sharing her Easter candy. ;)

Firsts and other happenings....

I have to laugh at myself because I get really excited for all of Ruby's first experiences - all the while knowing that she doesn't really know what's going on, nor will she remember them. But I get excited anyway! Sharing things with her for the first time just makes everything more fun!
First St. Patrick's Day! We celebrated with the Ingoldsby cousins. Corned beef and cabbage, Irish trivia, searching for the hidden leprechaun, root beer tasting.....it was a great celebration.

First trip to Buc-ees! Don't let her expression fool you, she seemed to enjoy looking around...and I enjoyed the stares I got when taking her picture.

Torchy's! Ruby is a big fan of food trailers.
Watching the bats on Congress bridge. Ruby was a CHAMP. C fed her a bottle while we waited (the bats pulled a no-show PS) and she was just super happy and calm.
Ruby loves the Austin skyline - just like her mama.

Our friends were so good to indulge me each time I said things like "this is Ruby's first time watching the bats!"

A little light reading.....

Ruby's never been a big fan of tummy-time. For a few days "Squishy Turtle" was the key to success....
