I love when Rubes and I can tag along to a conference with C. In October we road-tripped to Alabama for C to give a talk at Cheaha state park and a guest lecture at Jacksonville State University and then to Atlanta for a conference. We took the scenic route and enjoyed the beauty of the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Byway in northern SC and loved having some time to catch up with Steve and Najeda in Alabama. Ruby was a rock star traveler and we had a great time seeing the sights together.
