It's that time of year again folks - when I get to do some serious bragging about my hard-working husband. C has worked so hard during his time at Texas State and it's so nice to see him recognized. It was especially meaningful for him to be recognized this semester as it was his last semester as a graduate student! (More on that soon.)
In mid-April C was named the Outstanding Graduate Student for the College of Liberal Arts. That's right...the ENTIRE college. It was a big honor and Ruby (even though she cried anytime she heard applause) and I were both so proud of him!
Next, C was given the awards for best student publication and best teaching from the Geography department. What a great and satisfying way for him to bid farewell to his life as a student.
